Why is it so difficult for "Calvinist Converts" to completely separate themselves from a blasphemous, man centered, Christ denying, false gospel? The short answer is that they have yet to meet and believe in the Living Christ. I know many will read this and think that I have gone too far. They will accuse me of being narrow and harsh. Be that as it may, I am speaking the truth. If a person ever meets the glorious Christ who lived to satisfy all the demands of God's perfect law, who fulfilled all righteousness for His people, who died a Successful Savior, was risen by the power of God to confirm His work as accomplished, and was received by His Father as the Faithful High Priest, then their love for Him will not allow them to consort with any blasphemer that would deny His person or His work. Most Calvinist will never allow themselves to consider the possibility that they do not really know Christ. Like the Pharisees of old, they are greatly offended by the idea of their own blindness. They objected; "...are we blind also? Jesus said;...lf you were you would have no sin..." John 9:40-41. In their blindness, they see the consequences as too costly. It would mean that their position would be taken away and their popularity would suffer greatly. Oh, my friend, you are paying much too high a price for worldly wealth. "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt. 10:28
