Pray for the preacher. May He faithfully preach Christ to us.

Heartily praise the Lord in singing. It is honorable to offer to Him the sacrifice of praise.

Follow attentively the one leading in prayer. Pray in your heart with him, as together the congregation seeks the Lord's blessing.

Remember in whose presence you are. Have a sweet mixture of reverence and joy in your manner and conversation.

Listen for Christ and His grace in the sermon. Rhetoric and illustrations are but the vase to present the beautiful flower, which is Christ .

Make all comments about the message pertinent to yourself. Ask God to bless it to your heart as much as to others.

Have a word of encouragement, comfort, and help for others as you leave. Encourage one another to faith and love.
